Serial Repeater

Serial Repeater is a program designed to allow multiple applications to access a single serial port. It requires the use of “virtual” serial ports, such as those provided by com0com or VSPManager.

Usage: Run program, find the icon in the system tray, double-click icon (or right click and select Configure), and connect input ports to output ports.

Instructions

First you need to configure virtual serial ports. I chose to use K5FR's VSPManager, which is terrific and linked above. Screen shot:

Notice that COM8 is connected to COM9, and 10 to 20, 21 to 22, etc. Configure PowerSDR to use CAT Control on COM8, and then share out COM9 like the screen shot at the top of the page, allowing you to connecting logbook programs, meters, etc to COM20,21,22,23.
